Thanks for kind words for acquiring The Price of Freedom. We've put an artist on the job already and will be working out a few final details over the next few weeks and months, then, hopefully, it's into production. With respect to pre-orders, no information has been shared with GMT about pre-orders. So please, nobody should assume that their pre-order is automatically made with Compass. When we do put The Price of Freedom up for pre-ordering we'll make sure everyone gets an opportunity to take advantage of the pre-order discount. Thanks, Ken at Compass |

I played Renaud's early version of this quite a few years ago and it's a really, really fun game. I've won (and lost) as both sides.
It's great to be able to play the entire war in a few hours! |

This looks like a nice game that would suit me well. Unfortunately there's no point in buying it because I have no-one to play it with.
I wish someone would make a game like this for the computer. There are ACW computer games, but they're too complicated and take far too long to play. |

I just preordered. I own most every stragetic ACW game
out there but PoF seems to tie it altogether in one elegent system. My experience with AoN convinced me this was a must have also.Its great to have a serious treatment of ACW playable in an evening. Renaud Verlaque is a genius  If he ever designsa Roman Empire game I'll be his first customer. |
