I am currently in week three of January 1942 of the full campaign game. (I played four patrols first).
I have sank 17 Ships for 68,000 tons.
I lost one sub to a circular running torpedo.
One sub was a "constructive total loss" due to having two damage tokens when it returned to port.
I seem to be in no danger of meeting the 70,000 ton requirement by the end of February 1942.
Is it usually this easy to meet your tonnage quotas?
At this rate it will probably be sometime in June 1942 before I can start to roll for torpedo improvement, is this about average?
I have concentrated on going for the easiest kills in hopes of getting my number of kills up so I can roll for torpedo improvement.
